WEEK 8 : Project 2 : Contextual and Spatial Parameters

Design Context
Understand the site in relation to the surrounding.

Experiment 1 :
Understand the relationship between folie and Fortitude Valley.

Image 1: Fortitude Valley

Create an empty at Fortitude Valley.

Video 1 : empty spherical with negative value (-21)

Image 2 : 'Hair' emitted from folie

Image 3 : massing model generated from the 'hair'
(changes have been made to the shape and amount of hair)

Image 4 : cross section of the massing model

Another animation done with by rendering the particles animated in different frame.

Image 5 : rendering the scene with particles emitted from the folie towards Fortitude Valley

Image 6 : Changing the particles system into 'hair'

Image 7 : A huge amount of hairs generated from animation 3

Image 8 : Decrease the amount of hair generated

Image 9 : Hair emitted from folie during different frame

Image 10 : model generated from the hair

Image 11: Elevation of the model

Image 12 : Hair emitted from folie without selecting the 'B-spline'

Video 2: empty spherical with positive value (21)

Image 13 : massing model generated from the force field

Image 14: cross section of the massing model

Experiment 2 :
Understand the relationship between folie and Kangaroo Point.

Image 15 : Kangaroo Point

Create an empty at Kangaroo Point.

Video 3: empty spherical with negative value (-21)

Image 16 : massing model generated from force field

Image 17 : cross sectional of massing model

Video 4: empty spherical with positive value (21)

Image 18: massing model generated from the force field
